A Busy Week!

Last week Bethany took her dad to one of the Red Sox's annual spankings of the Orioles. Nana and Daddy took Katy to the Inner Harbor and the Aquarium.
The next day we went to the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve.

After only a single night at home, we went camping on some friends' property in the mountains near Mainville, PA. We took a side trip to Knoebel's amusement park.

Enjoying an afternoon campfire in front of the cabin.

Sitting on the front porch of the cabin.

Having a "LMAO" moment.

Trying out Daddy's cowboy hat.

Katy enjoys an outdoor sponge bath.

Katy checks out the "naked" (shirtless) boys at the pool at Knoebel's. "Those boys are naked!!" she exclaimed repeatedly.

Katy and Mommy enjoy the ferris wheel, but the Vannagat is scared, and hides his face in Katy's lap.

Daddy and Katy ride on the sled part of the carousel, as per Katy's request.

Katy waves somberly to other amusement park guests from the Old Smokey Train.

Katy watches the carousel, rapt.

Strike the bell, second mate!

The Red Baron strikes again! Wait... there's nobody flying the plane!

"I want to learn the ways of the Force and become a Jedi like my father."

Katy's first ride without Mommy and Daddy

The world's most uncomfortable nap.

Don't pick the moss, Fozzie. Really, don't pick the moss... or the mushrooms. And put down that hatchet. And don't get in the fire.

The neighbor kids, clad only in their oil-stained briefs and sporting Kool Aid mustaches, showed up on a John Deere Gator with their dog Tank. Seriously.

Trying on Daddy's boot.

Another outdoor sponge bath. And she was still filthy by the end of the trip.

Here's why.

Mommy's favorite alarm clock.

BEAUTIFUL! I laughed so hard at the "World's most uncomfortable nap". I love the captions... they make the pictures that much better!
